I guess I’m on a roll of inspiration regarding our times.
Before hopping on Inkscape and Krita to make this, I did an art study on corvids, the Flock cameras, and their logo. And along with that a rough sketch of what I wanted the final work to look like. There’s a lot of green in this because the company’s branding uses that color. Besides what’s going on in life, much of the inspirations for this piece come from cyberpunk aesthetics, Orwell’s “1984”, the Shane Acker film “9”, and a scientific journal I stumbled upon while doing my art study for this project. The text, background, and shapes were all done with Inkscape, while the lighting was done in Krita.
